About Us
We opened Beachcomber Lodge because we believe a good night's sleep shouldn't require leaving the wilderness behind.
Located on Mitkof Highway in Petersburg, we sit at the edge of the Tongass National Forest — where the road meets the water and the only traffic is the occasional salmon boat passing through the inlet. Our guests are fishermen, hikers, writers, families, and anyone who has ever wanted to stay somewhere that feels honest.
There is no lobby with a ringing phone and a stack of magazines. Just clean rooms, a quiet porch, and the sound of water you can hear even through the windows.
